What is Heritage Makers?
We are storybooking.  Story is at the heart of all we do. Stories provide a way for us to discover the rich heritage of which we are a part. With Heritage Makers unique online publishing process those stories can be preserved forever in custom hardbound books and projects.

What kinds of projects can I make?
In addition to several sizes of storybooks, you can publish greeting cards, postcards, calendars, and posters. Click here to see the complete product catalog.

How much do projects cost?
Projects range in price from $1.45 to $129.95. There are monthly specials for pre-purchasing your publishing costs that are only available through Consultants, so contact me to receive my monthly e-newsletter.   Shipping is calculated when you submit your book for publishing, and is approximately $8 to either Canada or the US.

What are the advantages of Heritage Makers over traditional scrapbooking?

What do I need to publish a book?

  • A broadband or high-speed Internet connection
  • Adobe Flash plugin version 9 or better
  • All pop-up blocking software disabled or set to allow www.heritagemakers.com, preview.heritagemakers.com and blog.heritagemakers.com
  • Javascript enabled
  • Java applets or Active X controls enabled (for photo uploading)
  • Screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768 (32-bit color quality recommended)
  • Internet Explorer 7.0 or greater (Windows)
  • Mozilla Firefox 3.0 or greater (Macintosh or Windows)
  • Photos
  • Text
  • Heritage Studio account

Do I need my own software?
No.  Heritage Makers has its own online web-based publishing software with Drag and Drop interface - select from a Template Book for quick and classy books or a Blank Canvas for maximum creativity. If you have already designed  your own digital layouts and need a place to print and bind them, you can with Heritage Makers.  Images need to be saved as jpg files. Software design programs which are compatible with Heritage Makers include Adobe Photoshop Elements, Microsoft Digital Image Pro, Scrapbook Factory. If you can save it as a JPEG, you can put it in our books!

How long does it take to publish my book?
Once you have submitted the project  for printing, there is a 10 business day turnaround for books and 1 business day for cards and posters plus shipping time to arrive on your doorstep.

What if there are mistakes in my final book?
Heritage Makers will reprint without charge any book with a manufacturing error.   Any mistakes or changes by the author will be reprinted at ½ price.

How do I get started?

  • Be sure to place your order through a Heritage Makers Consultant. That's me!
  • Decide on the book size you want.
  • Pre-purchase your book credits.
  • You will then receive an account number and you will activate your account from my website (I have the instructions on how to do this that I will give you upon ordering).
  • Take the tutorials on the website. You may call me with ANY questions that you have. We are in this TOGETHER and I will make sure you are happy with all your projects.
  • Start creating your Heritage library!
